This is what the ACLU is fuming about:

On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.

Here is what the First Amendment says about religion:

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

Where is the law passed by Congress that establishes a defacto religion by allowing Scouts to meet on military bases? Isn't the ACLU ban on scouts more a prohibition on the free exercise thereof? Military bases have Churches on them as well because people are able to freely exercise their rights anywhere. Is the ACLU going to burn down churches next? For an organization supposedly devoted to liberty, what have they just done to the freedoms of Boy Scouts?
