Recommended back in June (a bit early as the stock bottomed in July). I always seem to be early to the party<vbg> but patience won this round.

As to EMKR, I think it's trading up on both segments, optical improvements and the GELcore JV. It also reported earnings at the perfect time, with the market starting to really rev up.
