You would see a price improvement
with delayed quotes
only if the price is going down.
I wouldn't want to place a market
order based on delayed quotes.
But I never buy less than
1000 shares, 1/8 is $125. But if
you have money to burn on excessive
commisions it probably doesn't
matter to you.
Seriously a penny saved is a penny earned
and we are not talking pennies here.
I have my own reasons for an axe to grind
with Schwab, Like getting burned for
12,000 their fault and got the usual
Schwab cold shoulder instead of a
correction.
