not familiar -- I would guess these would be expensive -- power flow per unit area would need to be increased somehow and you lose energy in the process?? I'm sure the environmental folks would be all over it. I was listening to NPR the other day and some idiots were doing calculations as to how wind generators could alter the climate if you installed enough of them to meet a significant portion of our energy needs. Lotso dumb assumptions in a calculation like that.

If you have something why don't you link it? I'd like to read about them ...
