mt, you seem to be associating news with volume, which you say precedes price increases. Is this correct?
Volume is a concept I don't understand.
Volume, as I see it, can go up and the price down, or the volume can go down and the price up, or the volume can go up and the price remain neutral, or the volume can go down and ther price remain neutral, or the volume can remain neutral and the price down, or the volume can remain neutral and the price up. News, or no news. I just don't get it.
Then to separate out "news" into at least two categores, whether it be public, or non-public news, only further complicates the picture.
If you can help me with what ever it is I'm missing here, I would appreciate it. I'm not trying to be a "smart-ass" or anything like that, I'm just trying to understand the volume thing. And again, I admit I don't understand it at all.
Thanks.
