My understanding is that he was an unarmed wounded prisoner. But apparently he was taken prisoner in a rather hasty way and was perhaps not fully secured. If the insurgent was still effectively a prisoner, and unarmed and severely wounded to boot than it probably was murder. If however, the story was reported incorrectly and the insurgent effectively was not a prisoner than I'm not sure the marine did anything wrong. Tim
