It was the size of a grapefruit? How could that be misdiagnosed? I'm so sorry about your mother, but happy that everything worked out for the best.

However, I'm not going through that pain again.

As for the odd shaped colon, my guess is that it bends to the right.
Of course,.. it would never even tip to the left. Was there any doubt?
