our dish network receiver has DVR(same deal as tivo)....once you go to that you'll never be able to watch tv any other way again...the pause feature for live broadcasts..the ability to start watching a show from the start before it's done....and the quick pop through commercials...oh...and the fact that you can always have SOMETHING worth watching waiting on the ready. Our HD holds 100 hours...it fills up fast<g>..oh and that digital audio...saaweet as far as showtime...check out "The L Word" series mmm..lesbians. Cool show too...great characters I'll try to catch HUFF
