Wonder how new yorkers would feel about not being able to deduct local tax from federal return. Nobody likes to lose a deduction. I remember being unhappy when the Reagan tax cut cost me interest deductions. It did a wonderful job for the Mortgage people. I like the idea I posted about giving people an option of flat/regular tax. Good way to convert people over.
