Ice, you are correct. My only point is that many times you get a volume surge before a price increase. What I am trying to do is to use volume surges to key us in on companies where maybe something is about to happen. When I see volume go from 90,000 to around 600,000 and the price trend upward as in CADE. This tells me that maybe something might be happening. If news is leaking it should be good. This is not a very sophisticated indicator, but one that I think can be useful in picking companies. Believe me, I am learning as I go and nothing you say will be taken personal. Thanks, Martin
