Maybe so, but to me, as an outsider, what's going on in the US at the moment is really bad. In fact, I don't believe one can run a country on tricks, dishonesty, killing one's own people, war crimes, casting disrepute on those who are innocent and punishing them, corruption, jobs for pals, nepotism, etc, etc and then expect that this country is going to retain its place as a world leader. Maybe the present US administration can bullshit the American people that it retains the moral high ground and is justified in making war wherever it pleases and at their expense in money and lives -- but the rest of the world can see clearly that the Emperor has no clothes.
