That's the arrogant opinion of the Neocon's which is the French didn't jump to do our bidding and we suddenly don't remember what they did to help us in the past. In fact, we spread rumors that they never did anything to help us so we can call them cowards and enemies of the USA.... And oh BTW, we bailed their asses out of WWI and II..... Do you give them any credit for their support in Gulf War I and Afghanistan?

RE: Oil for food.... The Neocon tar job would suggest that it's the French that were the only ones involved in the Saddam kickback program when in fact a couple of Texas oilmen were right in there with them. And again I remind you that about 50% of Saddam's oil was purchased by the US right up until the invasion.
