Australians are the most pro US nation and they are furtherest away from the "liberal" Euro-think...and yet the challenger did a fair job against the PM purely on the Iraq issue, despite a recovering economy...If Iraq continues to go downhill, Blair may not get so lucky. But in terms of Iraqi deaths, I think the British contribution the is insignificant.
