Apple refuses to license Mac OS 8.0 There's recent news that Apple will not license any upgrades to the clones. THis is definitely a negative sign and the stock should drift lower as long as the impasse continues. Customers are unsure of the Mac OS now and they will even refuse to buy clones. This should lower the entire installed Mac OS base again. Apple's market share will erode again. Check out th coverage at news.com Remember that 1984 Apple commerciall? It's ironic, that the woman throwing the hammer today is throwing at the Apple Monopoly.
