Carolyn and her girls and my girls and I went to Chicago a few years ago for a Christmas sight seeing and shopping trip. Marshall Fields windows were all done with Harry Potter scenes..very cute, then we saw the three story Christmas tree in the center of MF, and also had a chance to see Santa and his work shop!

Robyn made us WALK by the Christmas tree in Daley Plaza, and this after a full day of shopping. My feet were 10 times the size of normal.

We went to see Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, it was held in Rosemont or Rosedown. We took a taxi over and the man said he would return for us. We waited until no one was around and thought we were going to have to hitch hike back, another Taxi came back to see if our man had picked us up. Thank heavens! We overtipped a lot, I'm sure, but we were so relieved not to be left in the boonies by ourselves..

The day we were to leave we had the Christmas brunch at the Palmer house, which was also decorated beautifully for Christmas...What a fun trip that was.
