"it points out a connection that is obvious to anyone"

Nietzsche had no connection to Hitler. A picture in a paper does not even tell us what position the author of the piece held.

I said "Hitler embraced ALL the things that Nietzsche despised."

You said, "He certainly did not! In fact he made sure every soldier in his army got copies of Nietzsche's writings, built monuments to him"

Are you slow or something? Even if Hitler did use Nietzsche for propaganda, it does not mean that Nietzsche approved of socialism, anti-Semitism, or Christianity. In fact, he clearly had contempt for all those major dogmas embraced by Hitler. My comment was 100% accurate and your response did not inform it in any way.

"I think you about nine wars off but regardless"

You are wrong if you think that.

"Nietzsche may have indeed rejected Hitler"

Nietzsche was dead when Hitler was months old. There is no connection in their lives. Nietzsche totally rejected the anti-Semitism, the socialism, and the fervent Christianity that Hitler and the Nazi party was to preach several decades after his death. So there cannot be any doubt but that Nietzsche would have despised the man who held values and beliefs which were so antithetical to his own.

"Actually all I have seen is that you don't like what Hitler did on a practical level but I am still waiting to see the basis on which you might actually judge his actions to be evil or even wrong in any meaningful sense."

They were wrong because they hurt people. And living a life safe, harmonious, and happy requires that people emphasise cooperation and kindness rather than religious hatred (or any other kind) and that they avoid giving injury.
