'Holy Warriors' Flock to Join Zarqawi in Iraq My mom toured the Mideast, Israel, Egypt, etc, several times in the early 80's with her Methodist church group. She told me (long before 9/11) that one time she sat next to a "little man" of Egyptian descent, and on the long flight over, they had gotten to talking. He told her that he'd been to Afghanistan, and even showed her a photo of himself - in it he looked like a Taliban (I forget the phrase she used at the time), with his ammunition belt and AK and everything !!! This of course was when the Russians were there, but I guess things don't change, do they ?
