I think Roach is very naive on this one. Bush/Greenspan/Dr. Evil/SMERSH have already orchestrated a huge devaluation in the dollar and it hasn't made things better in the USA. The big question is, if the decline of the dollar is created by foreign central banks supplying us with some tough love and economic violence (ho, ho, ho Mr. Magner), why would they then continue to buy our bonds knowing that they were making them worth less, if not worthless? I see no chance of a soft landing on this one. We've sown the wind and now we'll reap the whirlwind, making Bush and Greenspan America's grim reapers. <G>
