Michael: Do you believe in Hubberts Peak? Or simply, do you believe that the world can sustain, forever, the US using 25% of energy output when the Chinese, with 5 times the population and India with 6 times the population are coming up rapidly in consumption? Capacity doesn't seem to be there; which means scarcity is in the future. What is illogical for China to attempt to secure supply? At least they are doing so, it would seem, without firing a shot. Meanwhile... we invade.
