Here's the schedule for the "Grand Opening Weekend" Festivities: Saturday - The Ultimate Beach Party. Drinks, music, food and fun with a hometown BBQ, The Embers, The Platters, and The Little River Band. Pepsi is the corporate sponsor for this event. Sunday - Monopoly money betting. Each entrant gets Monopoly money to bet on simulcast races. Horse racing practice runs held. Monday - "Opening Day Races " Parade and speech by Virginia Governor George Allen.
