Certainly; but the basis of those rights and freedoms is the Theistic notion of equality and our common Creator God who grants them.

You claim that, but that's not historically accurate. Even the source you cited noted that Deism (a form of Theism) was the basis of the declaration.

That's completely arbitrary. Humans are also selfish and violent by nature. Your choice of one over the other smells suspiciously like it was simply lifted from the Theistic position.
