ADVISORY BOARD CREATED
Michael McMurrough, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of America Mineral
Fields Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the creation of an
Advisory Board to advise the Company with respect to the development of its
various projects, particularly those in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Advisory Board will be comprised of independent consultants with
expertise in different disciplines.
The initial members of the Advisory Board will be Jean-Raymond Boulle and
Dr. Richard Garnett. Dr. Garnett has stepped down as a director of the
Company in order to accept his appointment to the Advisory Board.
Jean-Raymond Boulle is well known to the mining community as the co-founder
and co-Chairman of Diamond Fields Resources Inc. and is a significant
shareholder in the Company. Dr. Garnett has over 36 years of international
exploration, management and operating experience in the mining industry,
and holds a Doctorate in Economic Geology, a Master's degree in Business
Administration, a Master's degree in Mineral Exploration and a Bachelor's
degree in Mining Engineering.
The Company is extremely fortunate to be able to draw on the broad
experience of Mr. Boulle and Dr. Garnett. Additional appointments to the
Advisory Board will be made in the future to provide the Company ready
access to experts in various disciplines on a cost-effective basis.
