There was contemporaneous evidence on Broaddrick, I agree.

HOWEVER, I believe that if Bush were a Democratic president and his brother's wife told someone who was writing a book about the family that she had seen him snort coke on many occasions at Camp David while his dad was president, AND her own publicist confirmed to the publisher of that book that indeed she had said that, AND Bush had never denied it, although he had been asked the question, most of the right wing would gleefully jump all over it, and there would be a hundred posts here about it.
