However, it is far more likely that the chart shown is not the AMS Money Supply as labeled, but is a chart of the Rate of Change of the AMS. The changes to MZM he outlines should not change the MZM (the Economagic black line) that dramatically in different directions over time. Making the changes he outlines should easily make the Economagic red line into the chart he displays.

I don't think Frank Shostok correctly labeled this chart, nothing more. If I were a betting man, I'd be tempted to get rich on this assumption. We could write to him to find out.

I hope you read my edited version of my post.
I had to redo it.
We both made mistakes.
You are 100% correct that his charts are of rates of change of money supply. Very useful IMO. But it is not a chart of AMS itself. I thought it was a chart of AMS and was wrong, you thought money AMS is itself a rate of change indicator. Read the text and you will see it is not.

I want to see charts of both the rate of change of it as well as the actual amount itself. That is what we really need to see, to determine exactly what the money supply is.

I do not know how to get a hold of Frank, but I did send an email to von mises. maybe we can get a real chart of AMS and not a derrivative of it.
