I think Bush is smarter than he seems sometimes. He does have a master's degree--he actually got slightly better grades in college than Al Gore, also. He is a very good campaigner--he ran campaigns for his father and has a lot of experience. I would agree that he is not very intellectual, but I think he is a quick study with people, and that is a very valuable kind of emotional intelligence and important for leaders to have.
