Mr. Waugh's comments re our bombs and suicide bombers are interesting...I agree with him... I agree too. That little bit was written by another great American warrior Col Lee Hope. Lee is older than Billy W. He was Billy W's first team leader in combat. Lee's unbelievable story will also be told someday. Lee's son is a full Colonel in the US Army today. Lee has told me about serving with Billy and a few other legends. Lee was the team leader of one awesome team. I have wondered if Billy W got his smart aggressiveness from Lee while running combat OPS on White Star in Laos. Lee and I are members of a very small group of about 15 SFers. He is a dear friend and has been very involved with me and others in the SF refugee program. I E-mail Lee nearly everyday. He currently lives in a small town in central NC. His wife has advanced Alzheimers and he takes care of her everyday. It is an honor for me to be here in cyberspace writing about relatively unknown men who have done more than some presidents to defend American liberties and freedoms and to liberate the oppressed It is a much higher honor to know them and to have worked with them. uw
