Mine too. But the reason I posted the piece(s) was because I know that Gus believes that the Israel/Zionist consideration was more important.

I'm not sure how to respond? In my opinion, the problem in the US is not too much money but too little -- in other words, a failing economy, as we discuss frequently. As far as the Arabs are concerned, they happen to be sitting on the stuff which is fundamental to all industrial power so, quite understandably, there will be competition to access it and to own it -- or preferably to steal it. Meanwhile, control of world oil is central to US power, whether they use it where they control it or not.
