Chucky (any relationship to the infamous doll?), Dan did not see a relationship between trade and imperialism (trace back the discussion). I showed two examples, Japan and Philippines, in which US relations started over trade and at gun point. So I have proven my point. As for your comments on "un-American", if you don't like what you see in the mirror, change yourself; breaking the mirror will do you no good. BTW, since I am taking the anti-imperialist position (which I am proud was shared by Mark Twain and many of real Americans), and you are calling it "un-American", then I guess you believe America is about pillaging the world at gun point and killing anyone who stands on your way.
