Taikun,Noranda should go to the highest bidder, and these examples
"*the US DoD who wants the materials exclusively for Military purposes.
*N. Korea's Kim who will transplant workers from the country to work Noranda's mines
* a consortium of Afghan warlords recycling their opium trade profits."
are ridiculous and you know it.
Governments have been dabbling in and supporting their countrys company's for years so it is a two way street ..Canadian government supported Ballard, Bombardier, Air Canada, Algoma Steel, Petro Canada and many more over the years including investing in many Canadian company's stock through the Canada Pension Plan... so this is nothing new...there is no level playing field or fairness in business..it is business..dirty and looking for advantage always, and that is what provides us with the "good life"<<g>>
