was an analogy reflecting a particular mindset. Like Ten, apparently it went over your head.

No Ted, it did not go over my head. It was simply insulting. If you like the allusion, you can apply it to the monolithic block of voters who would support a guy who lied about his military service.

...pay less attention to what the Dems are doing and more on what the GOP is up to...

The Democrats are the party of failed morals. Attempt to label Republicans with the reputation that has been EARNED by Democrats is just transparently humorous. Look at Jay Rockefeller's famous memos about how they would use Republican good will in the intelligence committee. The FMSM spun the problem as being a Republican staffer uncovering the blatantly partisan attack politics. Are you proud of that?

Republicans have not lived up to every measure of perfection. Remember that Republics only regained the majority status after an election rebutted the Democrat's dirty trick called Jumpin Jim Jeffords.

We know that Clinton, Gore and Kerry never would have had the guts to confront Muslim terrorism. President Bush after consulting his advisors has chosen a path, and we are embarked on a path toward Muslim freedom. There has not been free a Muslim nation in recent history. Would you criticize a result to two free Muslim nations?

Bush is the worse president this country has seen in a very long time. The fact that a majority of Americans voted for him shows how badly corrupted we have become.

To risk repeating myself, this is your opinion. You can thank the US military for the right you enjoy to say that. IMO Clinton was the worst President since Jimmy Carter. He managed to bring together the worst elements of LBJ, Nixon, and Carter.

The only fooling of the public has been done by the GOP. When the general public wakes up to that fact, including you, it may be too late.

Ted, you are smarter than that. The lies of the media in careful concert with the Democrat playbook were one of the largest coordinated attacks on the truth in the history of mankind. 2004 will go down in history as one of the most dishonest deceitful media campaigns ever. Lets both hope that something changes in the next few years. I don't care if the FMSM want to go down with their ships while alternate media outlets with a commitment to journalism replace them. I don't care if the FMSM make wholesale changes to purge themselves of their liberal bias. Either way American people win. The sleeping giant is awake, and the FMSM must decide which of the two alternate paths to follow.
