Asyst seeks Nasdaq hearing on late 10-Q filing By Spencer Chin EE Times 11/19/2004, 4:07 PM ET MANHASSET, N.Y. — Asyst Technologies Inc. said Friday (Nov. 19) it would request a hearing on a letter from Nasdaq threatening to delist the company because of a delay in filing its quarterly 10-Q. Earlier this month, Asyst (Fremont, Calif.) announced it would delay filing its 10-Q for the fiscal 2005 second quarter ended Sept. 25, due to financial closing difficulties at its joint venture company Asyst Shinko Inc. Asyst said it hopes to remedy the filing delay before Nasdaq de-lists the company's common shares, but is uncertain its request for continued listing will be approved.
