In accounting for the valuation of TRKN, don't forget to consider some substantial number of buckaroos for their technology-lead in their R&D success ... try hiring a couple of "Experienced" Semiconductor "Research" Engineers in the valley these days ... an H/R guy would be called as "real lucky" if he gets them at 100K/year salary. So, contributing to the numbers, from the perspective of a potential acquirer (of course the one paying thru its bloated stock) is the following model exhibit: ======== (100K/year base + 100K/yr overhead) * 20 Exp'd Engrs = 4 M cost of devpt/yr. Typical two years of devpt. time for such R/D ==> 4 * 2 = 8 M Only 10% success rate of such projects ==> potential value-added effect of 80 M. [ Not to mention the possible fear of loosing the market opportunity to a more nimble or larger competitor because of the "race against time" characteristics of such projects ]. ======== regards to all, -/Sonny.
