But they are not immense. Hand wringing over "every life lost" does not change the fact that our troops have not taken a big hit. Of course, if it not worth any soldiers life, that is a different matter. But that is not what we were talking about, and, in any case, I have often spoken of the reasons I think it is a worthwhile operation. You disagree. Fine, but don't pretend that I have not addressed it.
