Abbott says its dispute with Cambridge Antibody isn't unique in the industry, and won't affect its relations with biotechnology companies. Abbott said it averages about 50 new agreements with biotechnology companies each year. "We're a good partner for dozens of biotechs," says Ms. Brotz.
