Thanks again. This begs the $64M question as to where pramlintide fits in. Is it's "method of operation" (sorry, I'm not medically correct in my terminology) similar to either Targretin or Rezulin? And what might be the key to why the results of pramlintide have not been a total success. Do you suppose that a combination of pramlintide and some other agent might prove more successful (I am a programmer, so I know seemingly simple questions can lead to elaborate answers, and you can be as brief as you care to be!).

Perhaps the answers to at least some of my questions have already been posted here.
