The choices of viewers, whether in Los Angeles or Salt Lake City, New York or Birmingham, Ala., are remarkably similar. And that means the election will have little impact on which shows they decide to put on television, these executives say. Red States and Blue States both indulge in the same crap on TV; only for one side their viewing patterns underscore just how much hypocrisy there is in the politics of the day. The Red State Voter Creed: Give me flesh on Survivor; but its no sin to murder civilians in bulk, provided that they a) look different than us and b) are half a world away and c) hopefully also sitting on a pile of oil. And by the way, call this credo "American Values"!
