The Eagle means it was made for the Third Reich. I have a case of Belgium made .30-06 ammo made during WWII and I shoot it in my WWII M1 Garand. I also bought a WWII Mauser bolt action. Added a new barrel and a new trigger. Leaned down the action to make it less military. Inletted and finished the stock, the wood part, and did a basket weave checkering on it. It will hit a dime time after time at 100 yards. Fun because the project involved metal working, wood working and some fiberglass work. BTW, I have a "Dirty Harry" Smith and Wesson .44 magnum prototype. Made before they went commercial with it, no model number on the gun.
