I read this weekend that there may be lots of people of all ages starving/wounded/worse in Fallujah, but the international human rights agencies cannot really get in there yet to do an assessment because it is so dangerous.

We made our priorities very clear when we chose the hospital in Fallujah as our first military target, to close it down. I am amazed that there are any Americans who are proud of what we are doing there. I cannot understand it at all.

I would imagine that parents watching helplessly while their children wither and suffer and perhaps die are not going to be big supporters of the American agenda in Iraq.
