That is what the Shrub nuts want. They WANT global war. They PROFIT from global war. They are infused with arrogance, ideology, insanity, religiously zealotry, psychosis, greed, etc. depending on the individual.

For them, a war which they don't personally fight but from which they profit, is an exciting adventure in propaganda and manipulation. If it ends up destroying the species then all the better for the fundamentalist evangelical armaggedonists.

They aren't looking to make peace with Iran, they're looking for an excuse to expand war. Since NK probably has nuclear weapons (unlike Iran) they'll leave that to the Chinese to worry about. No sense in having a NUCLEAR war just yet.
