No. This is another of those polarizing statements. Most presidents read several newspapers every morning before they start their day. It gives them a variety of angles, different things to think about, so they can make their own opinions based on a good understanding of what's going on in world affairs.

Bush gets a little Cliff Notes kind of thing his advisors write for him. So he only gets one view. Many reasonable people think this is dangerous.
