was an analogy reflecting a particular mindset. Like Ten, apparently it went over your head.
No Ted, it did not go over my head. It was simply insulting. If you like the allusion, you can apply it to the monolithic block of voters who would support a guy who lied about his military service.
Insulting? Then why does the right do it repeatedly? I thought it was SOP. Loyalty and rally around the flag....rah, rah, rah!
...pay less attention to what the Dems are doing and more on what the GOP is up to...
The Democrats are the party of failed morals.
Because Clinton got a BJ in his office......ridiculous!
For me, I am more concerned with ethics.........and the right has been just short of indifferent to playing the game honestly.
BTW how's this for GOP morals?

Attempt to label Republicans with the reputation that has been EARNED by Democrats is just transparently humorous. Look at Jay Rockefeller's famous memos about how they would use Republican good will in the intelligence committee. The FMSM spun the problem as being a Republican staffer uncovering the blatantly partisan attack politics. Are you proud of that?
I am not proud of this Congress, this president and this election. The country is way off course and I suspect in decline.
Republicans have not lived up to every measure of perfection. Remember that Republics only regained the majority status after an election rebutted the Democrat's dirty trick called Jumpin Jim Jeffords.
And what is Zell Miller? Mr. Wonderful? You are so knee deep in your partisan bias, you can't see the forest for the trees.
We know that Clinton, Gore and Kerry never would have had the guts to confront Muslim terrorism. President Bush after consulting his advisors has chosen a path, and we are embarked on a path toward Muslim freedom. There has not been free a Muslim nation in recent history. Would you criticize a result to two free Muslim nations?
Yea, yea, yea........not only are you all superior, you're psychic as well.
Intellectually, Kerry, Gore and Clinton could run circles around Mr. Bush........that's what I care about most. I want some intellect in the WH, not machismo.
Ted, you are smarter than that.
You respect my ability to communicate but you denigrate my message. Frankly, there is something wrong in that analysis. You might want to think about it.
As for Bush, I've given him a chance.......of course, I had no choice. And things have not gone well, and with the exception of Afghanistan, he has done little of value in his first four years. I shudder to think what he will do in the next four.
I wish I had a fiver for every guy who told me they didn't want to vote for Bush but did so because they didn't like Kerry. I think they may regret their decision. |
