This statement is an opinion and a rather non-sensical one at that. As I have now outlined, numerous times, there are many reasons why people take the drugs which they take. Perhaps other drugs didn't work well for them (in my case acetominophen does not work at all and ibuprofen works much better than aspirin), perhaps the drug works faster (often this is a formulation benefit, but it can be drug specific as well), etc.

You are simply angling for a lawsuit against big pharma so you keep constructing pathetic, flimsy arguments on bias and opinion. The fact that people are going to sue Merck to try and reinstate the drug is strong evidence his opinion is unfounded . These people obviously benefitted from the drug in a tremendous way.
