You may think hunting is the only solution, but it is only one solution, and there may be better solutions, that please more people. You are not society, you are one person in it. If a majority of people agree with you, then hunting will be the only solution. If they don't, then there will be many solutions. If deer birth control works, I suppose that makes hunters unnecessary- is that your problem with it? You could always go hunting with a camera instead, if your killing purpose is rendered obsolete.
