Steve - I always show up for a free lunch.

But nobody has answered the question of why would you split the contract between westell & amati? Is it technology differences in regions?

On the big picture - Amati is probably getting looked at by all the people mentioned in today's post and I have no clue as to the technical match and fit. But on the financial side, I hope Amati does not start to entertain a secondary offering, partnership, colaboration or buy-out until Amati has signed contracts-in-hand.

With contracts-in-hand, the value of the stock will rise dramatically and the market potential will be quantified for all potential suitors to drool over. So IMHO, here's the senario: stock around 17, get contracts and stock will double to 34, they have a corner on the patents and the technology so double that = 68. This assumes no upside contracts or contracts larger than we expect. If that's the case all bet's are off!

Need real news for the volcano to blow!!!!!!!!

Call me an optimist, but why not?

:)
