Ehem! How is it that you miss the part about encouraging and concentrate on the after thought "Create" that was in parentheses? So, do you believe Israel was unable to encourage alternative representations for Palestinians other than PLO? As to how Israel could create one, what kind of a neocon are you?! If you believe nation building in Iraq with its conflicting populations and complex geopolitics can work (or at least is worth a shot) how is it that you don't think it could not be done in what would be a miniscule scale in comparison for Palestinians?
