This point must be made. This debate is not only about free speech. It is also about freedoms of companies and investors that are protected by laws in our country. Without agencies like the SEC, any broker can call you, blantantly lie about a company pro/con, and claim he his free to speak however they feel.

Pluvia has had a hidden agenda on why he blasted PLSIA (and other "non-dental" stocks). Does his agenda voilate SEC laws?

Alan Abelson has a clear agenda (to sell newspapers). And Barron's harsh analysis is one reason I subscribe. Also, I'm sure Alan and Kate Welling stand openly to their critics.
