I'm a pretty good judge of character, and I believe that I am right about the President.

I read his book "A Charge To Keep" before I decided to vote for him the first time. He addressed the issue of capital punishment. Christians pleaded with him to spare the woman who had converted after murdering many people in the most grisly way. She had actually become a model prisoner and ministered to others quite effectively. He applied a short list of objective questions to her case, and others. I don't remember all the questions, but one was "Did she receive every consideration under the law" or something like that. The answer was, she had been treated fairly. He refused to commute her sentence.

He applied the same questions to an equally guilty person and concluded that he should commute his sentence.

Did you see the President fishing his Secret Service guard out of a crowd down in Chile? The guard was being hasseled unreasonably. Bush left Laura's side and retrieved the man, saying "He's with me. This matter is settled." Moments later, he was shaking hands in line again as if nothing had ever happened.

I thought that was genuine courage and class. I also believe he is very gracious, as is his wife Laura. I believe that if he got seriously out of line, she would bring him back pretty quickly.

I've seen some of the "documentaries," although not the piece of trash produced by Michael Moore. They are obviously biased, and looking for trouble under every leaf.

I refuse to watch anything produced by Michael Moore because I don't want him to get a single farthing more because I watched. He is nothing but a ... Well, I will refrain.
