Interestingly enough, Pakistan is well able to hit Israel with its missiles. It's official name is Islamic Republic of Pakistan which dates back way before Iran's revolution. Its public is very hostile towards US and Israel. And untill 9/11 they were the main supporters of the Taliban and bin Laden. In contrast, Iran's population is the most pro-US muslim population in the world. Iran was openly hostile to the Taliban (so much for the "enemy of my enemy" theory) and was instrumental in US success in Afghanistan. So why is it that they should be considered any more dangerous than Pakistan?
