Yes, I e-mailed WHO some time ago and many from CDC and WHO are on my flu and/or sars commentary list (so they get e-mails almost daily). I have also offered to collaborate, but I am revising a manuscript that goes into great detail with many examples and I don't think they will "get it" until the paper is published (the paper has undergone several revisions with more examples because I'm sure it will be reviewed by those who have built a career on reassortment).
