Of course, you chose to interpret what I said in that fashion. What I said and meant was that some people are reacting to incidents such as the killing of the wounded and dying Iraqi much the same way that the Petersons reacted to the charge that their son killed his wife. They insisted and continue to insist that he could not be guilty in spite of evidence to the contrary. That was the same reaction some people showed towards the marine who killed a wounded Iraqi.........in fact, as of last weekend, over 30k people had signed a petition that the guy should be exonerated; that US Marine regulations that govern these matters be ignored.
For me, ethics and morality are not a part time thing....or just for this country. And I don't give a damn what the Iraqis or anyone else does.........I believe we should be held to a higher standard.

Why did Brokaw ask Kerry why President Bush's intelligence tests in the military showed him to be more intelligent than Kerry?
That's one test........and if I remember correctly, their scores were equivalent. In any case, do you evaluate a person's intellect based on one report? I don't....I base it a number of interactions and the person's behavior in a variety of scenarios.
In any case, this WH does not operate smartly.......whether that's due to a lack of intellect, or because of ideology or partisanship is inconsequential to me. The results are self evident.
